The default file Localizable.strings will have to go through two stages:

Localisation

Localize … the file to whatever languages you deem necessary. We can provide defaults for 8 languages.

Customisation

Modify the text values as you see fit. For example, a string that will probably need to be modified is the CTA:
"Onboarding installed button" = "Customize keyboard settings";

which will depend on the action you want to take once the onboarding process is finished.

"Onboarding Slide 1* title" and "Onboarding Slide 1* subtitle": are the respective titles and subtitles of the Selling benefits slides, which can be fully customised in the KBActivation file (their number and picture also). Here you can customise the text on those slides. Where * can be anything from 1 .. number of slides. See:

However, probably most of the strings you won’t need to change, you will just use their default value.

Note: If you change a string and a %@ is present in the default strings provided means that you should also specify a %@ in your customised version and have the SDK provide the argument for you.
"Activate step2 text_template" = "Tap & hold %@ key below."; you can change its value to:
"Click & hold %@ key below."
